About Us
Dr. Marty Lindahl
After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Memphis in 1997, Dr. Lindahl opened his practice at its current location in southwest Maryville. Ever fascinated with dentistry, he continues to study the latest research, technology, and other advances in dentistry. He also attends 50 to 75 hours of continuing education courses annually, while the state requires only 20 continuing education units per year. Dr. Lindahl is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Blount County Dental Society. He and his wife, Laurie, enjoy camping and hiking with their daughters, Chloe and Carly. The Lindahl family is active in the First Baptist Church of Maryville.
Misty Poole
Misty, a registered dental assistant for nine years, received her education from the Tennessee Board of Dentistry Registered Dental Assistant Program. She recently joined Dr. Lindahl’s team and loves the close working relationships she formed with her coworkers. The best part of her job is helping patients improve their smiles. Misty is the proud mother of a 15-year-old son, and she enjoys SCUBA diving, camping, and hiking.
Donna Worrell
Donna has been a dental hygienist for Dr. Lindahl for most of her years in the profession. More than 20 years ago, she received a bachelor of science and certificate of dental hygiene. The patients Donna has seen for many years have become her friends. Good dental health and a beautiful smile is what she wants most for her patients. Donna is a mother of three and grandmother of five children. She stays active by playing tennis and dancing, and she enjoys playing Bridge and watching movies.
Julie Trent
As patient coordinator, Julie enjoys the office’s relaxed, family atmosphere. For Julie, learning is an exciting adventure, and she learns something new each day. She received her education at Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia. Julie loves the outdoors, especially bike riding, hiking, and visiting the beach. However, her favorite thing of all is spending time with her husband and two daughters, Jada and Reanna.
April Cole
With an education from Tennessee Technical University, Knoxville, April has been a dental assistant for four years. For three of those years, she has enjoyed building relationships with coworkers and patients at Dr. Lindahl’s office. In her free time, April goes to the movies and loves hanging out with her friends.
Colleen R. Yates
With 36 years' experience in the dental profession, Colleen is treatment coordinator for Dr. Lindahl. She earned her AAS degree in dental assisting from Niagara Community College in Niagara Falls, New York. By taking advantage of continuing education courses, she keeps up with the latest dental treatments and equipment. The kind way Dr. Lindahl treats staff and patients makes Colleen proud to work in our office. She has a 29-year-old daughter, Tammy. When not at work, Colleen spends time with Ross, her boyfriend of 6 years. Music, art, reading, and travel are among her favorite pastimes.
Penny Morris, Hygienist
Penny has been a registered dental hygienist for 22 years. She is passionate about providing good oral care to her patients, and her job is made easier due to the efficiency of her coworkers. Penny is a member of the National Kidney Foundation, PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors), and H.A.B.I.T. (Human and Animal Bonds in Tennessee). SCUBA diving and tennis keep Penny on the go. She and her husband, Don, have an 18 year old son, Sean.
Missie Gregory
As our business team coordinator, Missie enjoys daily interaction with our patients and staff. She welcomes challenges as an opportunity to help a patient. After hours, Missie and her husband of 13 years, Tim, enjoy running and cycling. Missie also teaches fitness classes in her free time.
